Fun Collection of Winter Green

It is always fun to be included in an Etsy Treasury. This is the second treasury feature for me since I reopened my shop at Etsy in late October.

A lovely Winter Green color theme brings in deep emerald and forest greens in a variety of handmade items.

I was excited to see my Polka Dot vintage bead necklace included! This necklace is so rich in a jewel-tone emerald green and is a fun piece with the unexpected polka dots. The polka dot beads are vintage and very special!

You Must Go See iCraft's Front Page Feature Header!

iCraft.ca keeps on their toes with new and exciting features on their still young web site.

They have revamped the entire front page over the last few months. It has the same basic, clean design but they have added flash featured items. Today, they introduced fabulous flash rotating header in the whimsical iCraft design that incorporates the best of the best in handmade!

The header is very slick and contemporary looking and adds a sophisticated ambiance to the site while showcasing some beautiful things.

Can you be believe that my bracelet was included in the roll out? What a great day this was! I have been selling on iCraft for almost a year and I love it.

iCraft is well worth a look by anyone that wants to sell handmade. It is well run, well designed, and the seller back office is such a joy to work with.

GalleriaLinda's Vintage Inspired Necklace is "Item of the Hour" on ArtFire.com

It pays to check your selling venues! I found that my recently listed vintage-inspired necklace was featured as ArtFire's "Item of the Hour!"

The necklace is a vintage-inspired collection of Swarovski crystal pearls in the softest of greens and paired with Vintaj brass filigree and the most wonderful multi-faceted Czech glass 12mm round glass bead and a light champagne color. A favorite!

It is aways exciting to see your creations in public view, especially as a featured item on the front page of a venue! Featured recently on iCraft.ca was one of GalleriaLinda's neckwire chokers that have become so popular. This collection was designed to be easy to wear and to go with everything!

They are purposefully designed with simple beads, geometric shapes, Zen minimalist concepts, and fancier designs.

Ultimately, they are the pieces of jewelry that are grabbed at the last minute, thrown on with the ease of the nickle-free magnetic clasp, and look fabulous with jeans, suits, or dresses.

ETSY's Treasury Featured GalleriaLinda on March 25, 2007

Etsy.com has the coolest thing where a member can curate a "treasury" where they will feature the beautiful creations of other artists.

It is fun to do and it promotes the shops you select.

I have been featured in a couple of Treasuries recently, including this one from http://intrepidsoulmate.etsy.com. My bracelet is the third down in the third column - the blue and green glass bead!

The treasuries are fun for both the curator and the featured artists and I love to curate ones myself. This is great!

GalleriaLinda was featured in a blog recently! (click the photo to see the feature page)

Once in a while, I will search blogs just to see if my shop has been featured. There are many Etsy artists with blogs that love to feature shops. I came up with this neat surprise!

I remember that Lemonade (the artist that featured my shop) and I met on the Etsy.com forums discussing art show opportunities in Central Florida (of which, there are very few). Who knew she would check out my shop and then feature it? What a nice surprise!

Life lesson: as my grandmother used to say, "be sweet," because you never know how the person will fit into your life!
