Earring Therapy

When I don't have a lot of time in a chunk to devote to creating jewelry, I can pop over to my table and work up a cute pair of earrings!

Last year, I started making my own ear wires and have been very pleased with them. Not only do they look handmade (which is the point), but making my own saves money on materials.

I love these deep, rich green glass beads. With the gold and red metallic stripe, they remind me of romantic Italy for some reason! They are repurposed from another necklace and I just love "finds" like this.

You can find them now in Gallerialinda's Artfire Shop. These earrings turned out fabulous and would be at home just as much with jeans as with that little black dress.

  1. Great earrings, I love them. I am thinking about making my own earwires as well. Do you use some sort of gadget or do you just use your pliers and wire?

  2. Hi Dana, I use a jig to make my earwires but you could easily make a jig yourself. I have seen instructions online.

Here is what I have: http://tinyurl.com/897djw

I read that some designers just do them by hand but I need a little guidance!
